Day 1 : Arrival at Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong (100 km / approx. 3 hrs) - Meet & Greet at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station by our representative. Begin your scenic journey to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya often referred to as the "Scotland of the East". Enroute Stop: Visit the serene and picturesque Umiam Lake (Barapani), a stunning reservoir surrounded by forested hills. Optional (Time Permitting): Explore the beautifully maintained Ward’s Lake and Lady Hydari Park. Evening at Leisure: Explore the local market or enjoy a quiet dinner in your hotel. Overnight Stay: Shillong
Day 2 : Shillong – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Cherrapunjee (190 km / approx. 6-7 hrs) - After breakfast, check out and proceed towards the cleanest village in Asia, Mawlynnong. Visit the Balancing Rock, an unusual geological formation. Walk to the charming Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai village. Continue your drive to Dawki, located near the India-Bangladesh border. Highlight: Enjoy a boat ride (direct payment) on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River, one of the cleanest rivers in India. Enroute, stop at the scenic Elephant Falls near Shillong. In the evening, head to Cherrapunjee, known for receiving one of the highest rainfalls in the world. Overnight Stay: Cherrapunjee.
Day 3 : Cherrapunjee Sightseeing – Drive to Guwahati (150 km / approx. 5-6 hrs) - Post breakfast, explore the natural wonders of Cherrapunjee: Thankarang Park, Mawsmai Cave – a natural limestone cave with stalactites & stalagmites, Nohkalikai Falls – India’s tallest plunge waterfall, Seven Sisters Falls – a spectacular sight especially during the monsoon, Eco Park & Arwah Cave, Stop for a breathtaking view at Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint. After sightseeing, proceed to Guwahati, the gateway to Northeast India. Overnight Stay: Guwahati.
Day 4 : Guwahati Local Visit – Departure - After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Visit: The revered Maa Kamakhya Temple, one of the oldest and most significant Shakti Peethas in India (subject to time and traffic). Later, proceed to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey. Tour Ends with sweet memories of the Northeast.
