This, on one hand, lets you soak in the glory of Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir at Gangtok and, on the other, heals your soul with calm views of the Kanchenjunga range, monasteries & still lakes at Pelling! Finally, Darjeeling cements the experience with a magnificent sunrise atop Tiger Hill (a colonial character and an all-time attraction). Crisp mornings, misty mountains and a tantalising taste of Northeast India make for a well-paced holiday for time-strapped travellers.

Package Itinerary

Day 1 — NJP STATION / BAGDOGRA (IXB) AIRPORT– GANGTOK

Arrive at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra (IXB) Airport, where you will be received by the tour executive for your onwards transfer.
Begin your scenic drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, surrounded by rolling hills and mountain views.
On arrival, check in to your hotel and settle in after the journey.
The rest of the evening is free for relaxation, so you can unwind at the hotel or enjoy the pleasant hill-station atmosphere at your own pace.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2 — Gangtok Sightseeing

After breakfast, set out for a full-day excursion to the beautiful Tsomgo Lake, a high-altitude glacial lake surrounded by rugged mountain scenery.
Spend time admiring the lake’s changing colors and the breathtaking Himalayan landscape around it.
Continue to Baba Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh and one of the most visited attractions near Gangtok.
Enjoy the spectacular mountain views and the crisp weather of the region throughout the day.
You may also opt for a visit to Nathula Pass at an additional cost, subject to permit availability and operational conditions.
Return to Gangtok by evening and relax at the hotel.

Day 3 — Gangtok to Pelling

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Pelling, a peaceful hill town known for its scenic beauty and uninterrupted views of the Kanchenjunga range.
Enjoy the drive through winding mountain roads, charming villages, and lush green landscapes.
On arrival in Pelling, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax.
Later, if time permits, you may explore nearby viewpoints, local monasteries, and the famous Sky Walk, which offers striking views of the surrounding hills.
Spend the evening soaking in the calm atmosphere of this beautiful mountain destination.

Day 4 — Pelling – Darjeeling

After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing in Pelling before your onwards journey.
Visit some of the region’s key attractions such as Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest and most important monasteries in Sikkim.
Explore the historic Rabdentse Ruins, which offer a glimpse into the former capital of the Kingdom of Sikkim along with scenic surroundings.
If time allows, also visit the serene Khecheopalri Lake, a sacred lake known for its peaceful setting and spiritual significance.
Later, continue your drive to Darjeeling, the much-loved queen of hills, known for its tea gardens, cool weather, and colonial charm.
On arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.
In the evening, you can head to Mall Road to enjoy the local atmosphere, browse shops, or simply take in the crisp mountain air.

Day 5 — Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early in the morning, drive to Tiger Hill to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Kanchenjunga peaks, one of the most iconic experiences in Darjeeling.
On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery, known for its peaceful surroundings and Buddhist heritage.
Stop at Batasia Loop, a scenic spiral railway track with panoramic mountain views and landscaped gardens.
After breakfast, continue with local Darjeeling sightseeing.
Visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, a renowned centre dedicated to mountaineering history and training.
Explore the Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, famous for its conservation of Himalayan wildlife.
Pass by or visit the picturesque Tea Gardens, where the rolling green slopes create one of Darjeeling’s most recognisable landscapes.
Spend the day enjoying the charm, culture, and scenery of this classic hill station.
Return to the hotel by evening.

Day 6 — Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and prepare for your onward journey.
You will be transferred to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport as per your departure schedule.
