Day 1
— Guwahati to Dirang
Depart early (around 6:00 AM) from Guwahati to avoid city traffic. Cross the border at Bhalukpong (ILP check). Enjoy the drive along the Kameng River. Arrive in Dirang Valley. Visit the Thupsung Dhargye Monastery for a peaceful sunset view over the valley. Overnight in Dirang.
Day 2
— Dirang-Tawang
Early head towards Tawang. You will pass through the Sela Tunnel (the world’s longest bi-lane tunnel at this altitude), which ensures all-weather connectivity. Stop at the nearby Sela Pass (13,700 ft) and the frozen Sela Lake.
Enroute Visit the Jaswant Garh War Memorial, dedicated to the hero of the 1962 war. On the way down, stop at the majestic Nuranang Falls (also known as Jang Falls).
Reach Tawang and explore the local Old Market. Overnight in Tawang.

Day 3
— Tawang Local sightseeing
Morning Take a local Tawang-registered SUV for a trip to Bum La Pass (Indo-China Border).
Visit Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Lake), famous for its submerged trees, and P.T. Tso Lake. After that Return to town to visit the Tawang Monastery, the second-largest in the world. Evening Watch the Light and Sound Show at the Tawang War Memorial. Overnight in Tawang.

Day 4
— Tawang- Bomdila
Begin your return journey. If you missed it on Day 2, visit the Chakzam Bridge, a 15th-century iron chain bridge. Drive towards Bomdila. The descent offers different perspectives of the Eastern Himalayas. Evening Visit the Bomdila Monastery and the local craft center. Overnight in Bomdila.
Day 5
— Bomdila-Guwahati
Start the final leg of your journey.
