Whether it be serene monasteries or jostling hill towns, snaking roads hugging mountains battered by the wind, the trip unfolds some of the eastern Himalaya's best scenery. Starting from Gangtok, travellers get to experience Sikkim's colourful culture, beautiful scenic viewpoints and peaceful ambiance before moving on to the ancient Silk Route and spending time in quaint Zuluk. En route, you’ll be treated to high-altitude lakes, serpentine mountain passes and glorious views of the Himalayas. It ends at Kalimpong, another peaceful hill station with many monasteries and gardens and colonial buildings. Itinerary: Well suited for nature lovers, photographers and mountain enthusiasts; quickly mix cultural tours with heritage and scenic views.

Package Itinerary

Day 1 — Bagdogra – Gangtok

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), where you will be greeted and transferred to Gangtok, the picturesque capital of Sikkim.
Complete the hotel check-in and spend some time relaxing after the journey.
In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along the lively M.G. Marg, known for its cafés, local shops, and vibrant atmosphere.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2 — Gangtok Sightseeing

Enjoy breakfast before setting out for a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok.
Visit Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower Exhibition Centre, Cottage Industry & Handicraft Centre, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten, Gonjang Monastery, and Banjhakri Falls while soaking in the city's cultural and natural beauty.
Return to the hotel after the sightseeing tour.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 3 — Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake – Baba Mandir – Zuluk

After breakfast, begin your scenic drive towards Zuluk via some of East Sikkim's most celebrated attractions.
Stop at the glacial Tsomgo Lake, admire the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, pass through Kupup (Elephant Lake), and enjoy views of the beautiful Nathang Valley. (An optional visit to Nathula Pass is available at an additional cost and subject to permits.)
Continue along the historic Silk Route to reach the peaceful mountain village of Zuluk.
Check in and enjoy an overnight stay in Zuluk.

Day 4 — Zuluk – Kalimpong

After breakfast, check out and continue your journey towards Kalimpong.
En route, admire spectacular Himalayan landscapes while visiting Thambi View Point, Kupup Lake, Memencho Lake, and the famous winding roads of the historic Old Silk Route, offering magnificent views of Mount Kanchenjunga on clear days.
Arrive in Kalimpong and complete the hotel check-in.
Overnight stay in Kalimpong.

Day 5 — Kalimpong – Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out.
Transfer comfortably to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB) for your onwards journey.
